A Word From Our Cardroom Manager
Roy Cooke has been a professional poker player for many
years, and is the Senior Columnist for Card Player magazine.
Our mission at Planet Poker is to offer the most secure
cardroom on the Internet where all players can enjoy
an honest game of cards without intimidation and unfair
play. We are committed to maintaining the integrity
of our game.
Planet Poker expects our players to play their hands
individually without any assistance from anyone else.
Sharing information about a hand with another player
before a pot is awarded is a serious form of cheating
called "collusion." State-of-the-art software
has been written to detect and flag collusive play,
and I will personally investigate these. Planet Poker's
policy is very clear when it comes to cheating and collusion
-- we will bar cheaters from Planet Poker for life.
The all-in feature of our game was designed to protect
players having technical problems, NOT to be used as
a weapon during the game. Abuse of this feature will
result in suspension of a player's all-in reset privilege
and continuation of abuse will result in this protection
being eliminated permanently. All inquiries will be
looked into by myself personally.
Players should refrain from making intimidating or
offensive remarks to any other player through the chat
line. Abuse of this policy may result in suspension
and/or barring of the offending player.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining the integrity
of the cardroom and take all reports of abuse seriously.
